This Ensuite bathroom was particularly small, but still needed to feel like a special retreat.  Therefore, special attention was paid to the tile details, the plumbing fixtures and custom glass.   To offset the more expensive accent tiles, standard 4x16 ceramic tiles were used for the bulk of the project.  The rectangular drain keeps things simple and sophisticated.

There was minimal space for a vanity, but this one big on style and function.  The accent tile repeated behind the vanity, floor to ceiling, pulls it all together and keeps it feeling custom, yet simple.

Shower head and hand-held faucet keep to the linear and simple style in the rest of the bathroom.

The children's artwork is an important feature of this family home.  The soft grey walls allow it to stand out and steal the spotlight - as it should!

The main floor went from small closed off rooms to totally open concept.  Delineating the spaces with furniture and colour was key to creating zones and order.   The custom cabinets provide ample storage space and everything can be put away.

There is ample room for children to come in and out of the kitchen while someone is preparing a meal.  The quartz countertops are durable and there is plenty of room for preparing all of those school lunches.

The blue-green glass backsplash provides a hit of sparkle and light reflection.

This beautiful antique armoire sets the tone for the house the minute you enter. The family appreciates modern and contemporary style, with the odd antique twist. Porcelain tile is practical for the entrance but stands out in style in a herringbone pattern.
